Conference Theme
i-Converge, the acronym for International Conference on Vernacular Resource Genesis, provides a platform to deliberate upon rational approach for the future built environment. i-Converge 2020 focused on the theme of “Re-Imagining and Re-Designing Built Environment in the Presence of COVID-19”.
In view of the post- pandemic era, i-Converge 2022, the second edition of international conference, enthuses on the theme of “Changing Dimensions of the Built Environment”. The conference strives to provide a multidisciplinary interactive forum to explore the present and upcoming challenges together with the opportunities being faced by the professionals associated with the built environment in the world after pandemic. The conference is scheduled as a three days event (blended mode) for knowledge sharing among artists, academicians, researchers, students, policy makers, and industry professionals from Architecture, Planning, Design and other related fields.

I welcome you all to an International Conference ‘i-Converge-2022’ hosted by the School of Architecture, Planning and Design, DIT University. The conference aims at establishing a connection between the multidiscipline approach for the dynamic dimensions of built environment.

I am happy to note that the School of Architecture, Planning, and Design at DIT University is organising the second edition of the International Conference, i-Converge 2022: Changing Dimensions of the Built Environment, during September 15-17, 2022. This international conference will focus on the transitions that have occurred across the globe due to the pandemic that has compelled the professionals to revisit the continuity of the framework of development in the name of growth. The paradigm shift has given rise to an urgent need to discuss and deliberate on the sustainable way forward. The conference aims to provide opportunities for sharing and exchanging of original research ideas in the multifaceted themes comprising but not limited to: Architecture and Built Environment, Planning and Practices, and Design and Society.

Participants will have the opportunity of sharing their ideas through scholarly articles and poster exhibitions. This three-day blended mode event strives to deliver its objective through the global participation of scientists, academicians, practitioners, and students.
Participants and delegates also get the opportunity to experience India, especially Uttarakhand, which is known for its tourist destinations, rugged Himalayan landscapes, natural forest covers, and many architectural marvels.
